Ian Armstrong
Associate
Mr. Armstrong is an associate in the firm’s real estate practice group.
Prior to his employment with WKPZ, Ian was Associate General Counsel for a real estate investment trust that owns more than 60 properties in Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas. Ian's experience there included the purchase, sale, and financing of commercial properties, as well as the negotiation and drafting of leases aggregating more than 750,000 rentable square feet and $72,000,000 in total lease value.
While in law school, Mr. Armstrong completed an internship with the Honorable “Tad” Halbach.
Ian's approach to the practice of law reflects his undergraduate studies in economics; Ian's "expand the pie" mentality allows him to capture the greatest value for his clients. When not serving clients, Ian loves to play golf and watch the Houston Rockets play.
