Hamed Moradi
Associate
Mr. Moradi is an associate that practices with WKPZ’s employment law and litigation group. He represents employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Prior to his employment with WKPZ, Mr. Moradi held an associate attorney role for a well-established law firm in the personal injury arena, defending various transportation companies in high exposure cases in both state and federal courts. Mr. Moradi obtained favorable results for his clients through summary judgments, avoiding the costs of unnecessary trials.
Mr. Moradi obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and worked as a research assistant. While attending law school, he also worked for a civil litigation firm in Austin, Texas, where he had the opportunity to work on complex and high stakes commercial litigation cases, including a multi-million dollar corporate veil piercing case. Mr. Moradi spent a semester interning with the 157th District Court in Harris County.
