WKPZ Teams with Houston Bar Association's AIDS Outreach Committee
Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program Expands
The Houston Bar Association's AIDS Outreach Committee once again expanded its successful Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program and helped more than 100 people touched by HIV/AIDS.  Of that number, more than 75 of those assisted were children.  The committee provided holiday gifts and necessary household items for 26 families and two individuals.  In all, twenty-four law firms and businesses sponsored the program.  Associate Tanya N. Garrison spearheaded the effort at WKPZ office.
