Patrick McGinnis
Mr. McGinnis’ practice is devoted primarily to business litigation. Patrick joined WKPZ as an
associate in 2018. Prior to joining, he worked as an associate in a well-respected Houston law firm,
where he spent two years handling a variety of cases. He has represented insurance companies in
both first and third-party cases and subrogation, and represented private entities as both plaintiffs
and defendants in disputes involving contracts, real estate, trade secrets and non-compete/non-
solicitation agreements, Deceptive Trade Practices Act, construction, employment, business torts,
premises liability, and medical malpractice.
During completion of his undergraduate degree and throughout law school, Mr. McGinnis worked
as a tennis professional at The John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, Texas, and at River
Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.
