Tanya Garrison was retained by trial counsel to assist with the appellate issues arising from a trial court's wrongful attempts to force the trial of a case previously disposed.  Ms. Garrison was successful in pursing the case through the Supreme Court, which ruled in her favor and issued a conditional order that the trial court withdraw its prior orders.  This opinion is located on the Texas Supreme Court web site.  http://www.supreme.courts.state.tx.us/opinions/HTMLOpinion.asp?OpinionID=2001458.  As WKPZ's chief appellate counsel, Ms. Garrison has been involved in a significant number of appeals both at the courts of appeals and the Texas Supreme Court and she is regularly called in to assist trial counsel with the issues surrounding error preservation and complex questions of law.
