WKPZ Shareholder, Cory Halliburton, presented at the 3rd Annual North Texas Conference for Library Supporters. Conference attendees included representatives from nonprofit organizations and governmental bodies from all parts of North Texas. Mr. Halliburton's presentation, Libraries & the Law: How (& When) to Keep the Records, Doors & Books Open, focused on liability and governance issues facing libraries and their boards, advisors and other constituents, with an emphasis on Open Records/Open Meetings laws, private management of governmental functions, and volunteer issues.
